WHY,HOW,WE CELEBRATE AMBEDKAR JAYANTI?

Ambedkar Jayanti is awaited by all Dalits throughout the year, it is one such day.  When the people of the Dalit class worship Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar as God and celebrate this day with joy.  He will always be grateful to Dr. Ambedkar for the contribution made by the people belonging to the depressed class in the society.  He was an Indian politician who became a member of the Rajya Sabha and was also successful in securing his place in the Lok Sabha.

 Dr. Bhimrao ji's birthday is celebrated as Ambedkar Jayanti all over the country.  In 2015, it has been declared as a public holiday of India.

 Ambedkar Jayanti in India:

 Ambedkar Jayanti or Bhima Jayanti is celebrated on 14 April.  It is the birth anniversary of Ambedkar, one of the most respected persons of independent India.  He tried to eliminate the feeling of inequality among the citizens of the country on the basis of caste and religion.  Dr. B.  R.  Ambedkar's birthday is celebrated as Ambedkar Jayanti.

 This day is celebrated with great enthusiasm by the Dalit classes as an opportunity to implement the Prevention of Atrocities Act and enjoy freedom and equality in independent India.  This day has been declared an official holiday since 2015

Ambedkar Jayanti was celebrated at a special event organized at the headquarters of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).  This was the first time Ambedkar Jayanti was celebrated outside India by Indian envoys and country entries with a series of officially organized events.

 When Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Ambedkar was practicing law in the Bombay High Court, he established an institution for the promotion and uplift of untouchables.  He also led many movements and processes aimed at educating every person of the society against the atrocities on the Dalit members of the country.  He inspired people to fight against these discrimination.  Ambedkar started a struggle with public drinking water resources and also made several agitations for the rights of Dalit people.  He also struggled for the right of Dalits to enter Hindu temples.
